Why Jesus?

We will all ultimately die, but what will happen to you when you die?
In heaven, we get to spend eternity with God, us worshiping Him and Him caring for us.  In hell, we will be forever separated from God and live in a place of torture and unquenchable fire.
The big questions is WHERE WILL YOU GO WHEN YOU DIE?
Here is a test to find out, the "TenCommandments Test":
Have you ever...
lied?
stolen?
dishonored your parents?
used God's name as a cuss word?
commited adultery or even looked at someone with lust?
murdered or even hated someone?
These are just six of the Ten Commandments. How did you do?  Based on how you did, are you innocent or guilty before God?
The Ten Commandments are God's laws, or rules, for us. The Bible says if you have broken just one of these laws, you are guilty of breaking them all; you have sinned against God. That means that even if you have broken just one law, you have failed the test.
So based on how you did, will you God to heaven of hell?
Based on the Bible, all have sinned an fall short of the glory of God. That means every one  is guilty and everyone deserves hell.
This is a big problem!  What should we do?
Should we go to church? be nice to everyone? give money to the poor and to the church? be as good as possible?
No.
The Bible clearly states that we are not good. God's standard is perfection.  He says, "Be holy as I am holy."  You see, evil cannot mix with holiness. However, we have all sinned, so there is no way we can be good enough to earn heaven.
So how does anyone go to heaven?
Great question!
God has sent someone to take the Ten Commandment Test for you! Do you know who this is?
That's right, Jesus!
Who is Jesus?
-Jesus is God's only son.
-He is God.
-He came to earth in the body of a man.
-He was tempted to sin, just as we are.
-But He never sinned.
-In fact, everything He did was good.
-He is perfect.
Do you know what Jesus did for you?
-He came down form heaven to live as a man on earth.
-He lived a perfect life, full of good works.
-He willingly died for you on a cross, the most excruciated form of execution know to man.
-He rose from the grave three days later and conquered death.
Why did Jesus do all this?  Because you can't. He died so that you can go to heaven and not hell. He payed the price for your ransome with His devine and precious blood.
Jesus lived and died an A+ life, and He offers you His A+ in place of your F. He did this so that God would see Jesus' test score and not yours.  He did this so that God would look at you and see Jesus' sinless life and perfect works and no longer see your sinfull life and reject you.
Is this not good news?
Now you have a decision to make. Will you trust in what Jesus has done for you?
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the father except through Him.
If you have not trusted Jesus for your salvation, now is the time to REPENT and TRUST.
-Repent means to turn and walk in the opposite direction.  You were living a life of sin--now turn around and live a life of obedience to God.
-Also put your trust in Jesus.  Like you would trust in a parachute and put it on to save your life, put Jesus on to save your life from hell, and don't let go.
Once you trust what Jesus did for you, God sees Jesus' perfect A+ instead of your F. All your sins are wiped clean and replaced with Jesus' perfect life.  You now meet God's standard.  God now sees Jesus when He sees you, and you become His child and are accepted into His presence and into heaven.
